Located in the heart of midtown Atlanta, GA, luxury boutique House of Fresh is a one-stop shop for urban and upscale clothing for families, spanning men and women to kids. The store, opened by Grammy-nominated musician and fashion aficionado Christopher “Drumma Boy” Gholson in Oct. 2017, makes shopping a full-scale experience, with high-quality brands like A. Tiziano and Staple lining the shelves alongside hip, chic streetwear from Nike, Fila, Champion and more, offering an array of product that represents the style of both today and tomorrow.
Featuring clothing from Drumma Boy’s own clothing line Fresh Phamily, House of Fresh seeks to challenge the status quo of stores in the Atlanta area, particularly in a location where residents are often underserved. Patrons are treated to custom printed t-shirts and designer bags as well as nighttime attire like tuxedos made by celebrity designer Miguel Wilson, with expert customer service available to suit customers’ various needs.
House of Fresh also offers grooming beyond clothing, including nail services as well as an on-site barber every Friday. VIP services are available for those who are unable to shop during regular business hours, including musicians and entertainers who adhere to strict schedules. Those who subscribe to House of Fresh’s VIP services will be able to shop from 9 p.m. until midnight, make use of a private bedroom and shower, and imbibe complementary beverages to enhance their visit.
For Drumma Boy, opening House of Fresh at a house on Howell Mill Rd NW felt like a natural progression. Nicknamed “Mr. Fresh” for his keen eye for hot new trends as sharp as his ear for quality music, Drumma Boy began his foray into fashion outfitting people out of the back of his trunk, inevitably getting brand sponsorships from Sean John, Young & Reckless, LRG and Parish. He decided to take design into his own hands by starting his Fresh Phamily line in 2013, growing to become available in select stores in Los Angeles, Miami, New York, Atlanta and Memphis, where he was born.
